I was inspired to check my app by @thinkitsallsober and it was on a nice round number so worthy of a post.
Kind of stopped checking now as it feels like ‘normal’ life now not to have alcohol. Still not resting my willpower though. I remember being further along than this in the past and ending up back on the ‘just finish the bottle up’ Tuesdays quite soon after. I can’t do moderation, I will for a while but it will inevitably end up with me full of wine and feeling like shit 80% of the week.
Things I’ve gained from chucking booze in the bin:
✅ Clearer skin
✅ Better sleep
✅ Wiser food choices
✅ No constipation
✅ Extra time
✅ Flexed willpower
✅ Tattoos and piercings
Long may it continue. I am certain this is my life now. I look on booze as I do with smoking …what was I thinking 😔
